A typical antler score considers several groups of measurements rather than one simple width. RackScore uses visible information from a photo to create an AI-assisted estimate based on commonly known Boone & Crockett-style criteria.

Main beams

The main beams form the primary sweeping structure of the rack. Their visible length and curve contribute substantially to the overall estimate.

Tines

Tines are the points growing from the main beams. Their number, visible length and arrangement help describe the buck's antler structure.

Inside spread

The inside spread describes the widest distance between the main beams. Perspective can strongly affect how wide this appears in a photograph, making a straight or gently angled view especially useful.

Mass and symmetry

Circumference measurements reflect antler mass. The relationship between the left and right antlers also helps a hunter understand the rack, although a photo-based result remains an estimate.
