Deer antler score calculator

Have the rack and its measurements? Enter inches below to calculate a typical whitetail estimate. Only have a photo? Explore photo scoring in the RackScore app.

Enter your measurements

Use inches and eighths: 18 3/8 or 18.375. Check each normal point; leave 0 only when absent. Left and right mean the deer’s own sides.

Left and right antlers
Main beam
G1 normal point
G2 normal point
G3 normal point
G4 normal point
H1 mass
H2 mass
H3 mass
H4 mass

Enter 0 if none. Measure abnormal points separately; do not include them again as normal G points. Their full combined length is deducted from the typical frame after symmetry deductions.

What the totals mean

The typical-frame subtotal adds credited spread, both beams, normal point lengths and eight circumference measurements. The gross total shown here also adds abnormal-point lengths. The net typical estimate subtracts left/right differences and abnormal-point lengths from the typical-frame subtotal.

Common calculator questions

Can I upload a photo here?

No. This tool uses measurements you enter. Photo estimation happens in the RackScore iPhone or Android app.

What if my buck has no G4?

Enter 0 for the absent G4, but still record H4. Check the official chart for the correct circumference location; do not skip mass measurements.

Why is my spread credit smaller?

Credit cannot exceed the longer main beam. The calculator shows when this cap changes your input.

Can I use this to enter the record book?

No. Follow the Club’s current requirements and use a designated Official Measurer. This tool does not verify drying time, eligibility or measurement technique.
